Marcia Llyneth Griffiths also known as the "Queen of Reggae" released her song "Electric Boogie" in 1976 and released a newer version of the song in 1989 creating what is now known as the Electric Slide. The single is the highest-selling single by a female Reggae artist and it reached number on the US Billboard Hot 100. Today, it remains an international dance craze and the most popular among family events. It is earliest line dance I've learned and reminds me of my childhood since I even had to perform this dance in gym class. I'm almost sure everyone from your younger sister to your grandmother knows this dance. And if not, it is extremely easy to learn! Check this out!
